Position Summary:

We’ve been asked to assist with a search for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 225-bed acute care facility located in TX (greater Houston area).  The facility is in the process of opening their brand new Women’s Services Unit, which will include a level II NICU, with up to 14-beds.  $3M in renovations and equipment has been used for the new unit and it looks great! 

Knowledge and application related to advanced neonatal nursing practice; ability to demonstrate and perform diagnostic and clinical procedures; knowledge related to continuous quality improvement principles; knowledge of body substance isolation; knowledge related to infection control principles; demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively are necessary, along with two years of Level III neonatal nursing experience.
