Position Summary:

We’ve been asked to assist in a search for a Critical Care Manager for a 400+ bed facility in sunny Florida!

The Critical Care Manager will supervise and coordinate functions and activities of the CVICU, and may be responsible for the service line group in the Director’s absence.

The Critical Care Manager will consult with Director concerning management of CVICU (15-bed unit) and all related matters, and organize, direct, and coordinate functions and activities of the unit.  Additional responsibilities include; completing performance appraisals with employees, intervention and problem resolution, as well as interviewing applicants and making hiring recommendations.

This position will report to the Director of Nursing. Candidates must have a BSN, 2-3 years of management experience working in an acute care setting, and a FL RN license.
